A three-person exhibition.

mara/thalassa/kai is conceived as collaboration between three women and an embodiment of their connections to the Sea. The origins of these memories, Hawaii, Greece and Ireland are bound to each through ancestry, upbringing and cultural heritage. Melissa Borman, Anastasia Pelias and Rian Kerrane utilize the visual media of photography, sculpture, video and painting to conceptually reference personal relationships to the sea through current reflections on memories. Each artist uniquely focuses on association with location, identity and the evolving exploration of self.
